王顺，男，湖北武汉，1986年10月生，博士、教授、博士生导师。分别于2009年和2011年获中国地质大学（武汉）学士和硕士学位，2017年获维也纳自然资源与生命科学大学博士学位。
2018年在维也纳自然资源与生命科学大学岩土工程研究所从事博士后研究，2019年至2021年为助理研究员，并担任国际岩土工程期刊《Acta Geotechnica》的助理主编，2022年被聘为9001cc金沙教授。
长期从事岩土力学实验和数值分析方面的研究工作，在水库滑坡粘滑蠕变机理和碎屑滑带土流变力学特征、亚塑性本构模型理论与数值分析技术、水库地质灾害物理模型和数值模型多尺度模拟等领域取得一系列创新性研究成果。主持维也纳Otto Pregl岩土工程基础研究基金和奥地利科学基金会Stand Alone基金各一项，并作为主要研究骨干参与了欧盟委员会、奥地利科学促进会、国家自然科学基金委等机构资助的多项科研项目。作为欧盟地平线2020计划访问学者先后访问圣胡安大学（阿根廷）、纳扎尔巴耶夫大学（哈萨克斯坦）、苏黎世联邦理工大学（瑞士），帕多瓦大学（意大利）、塞萨洛尼基亚里士多德大学（希腊）、同济大学、浙江大学、天津大学、德国Itasca岩土工程咨询公司等知名高校和企业。在《Engineering Geology》、《Landslides》、《Acta Geotechnica》、《Géotechnique》、《Computers and Geotechnics》等地质工程和岩土工程领域主流期刊发表SCI论文30余篇，参与编撰英文专著3部，中文专著1部。详细简历：http://risk.whu.edu.cn/WangS-WHU.2.pdf
